The difference is the DTK2Z — the new double-zippered Split Kit version of the DTK2, with independent access to each side of the kit without having to pull the whole thing.

- Shield Trauma Kit (STK) — jacket pocket, ankle holster, or plainclothes carry
WHAT MAKES THE DTK2Z DIFFERENT
- Double-zippered split-kit architecture. Independent access to each side of the kit without removing the whole bladder from behind the plate. Faster, more deliberate deployment when you know exactly what you need.
- Same plate-backed waterproof construction. RF-welded vinyl shell. Sealed, plate-shaped, ¾" thick — fits behind any standard ballistic plate without adding bulk or compromising profile.
- Upgrade from the V7. If you're running the V7, the V8 is the same two-kit philosophy with a more capable primary kit. The Shield stays the same. The DTK2Z does more.
