Fresh Whole Blood Transfusion Donor Kit — Under-Armor Carry — Restricted Item.
When conventional blood products can’t be delivered at an acceptable rate to sustain resuscitation of an actively bleeding patient in an austere environment, Fresh Whole Blood is the intervention. The Vampire Donor Kit is the under-armor-carry collection system for soldiers deployed on high-risk missions to austere locations.
Plate-shaped, body-conformal, designed to fit behind the soldier’s ballistic plate — the same under-armor carry principle as the DTK2, applied to FWB collection. Everything needed to collect, type, and label a donation in the field.
